Crowns & Bridges in Minot

Dental crowns and bridges repair significant damage or replace one or more teeth that have gone missing in a row. Crowns and bridges come in a variety of materials, and the one that is right for you depends on the location of the tooth, your budget, and your personal preference. You and your Minot dentist will thoroughly discuss your options to determine which is best for you — contact us today!

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a thin covering built to match your tooth’s specific dimensions. It is bonded securely around the damaged or decayed tooth. Dental crowns are used in a variety of situations, including:

Dental Bridges

The dental bridge is a set of dental crowns affixed to one another. It is used in tooth replacement for one, two, or several teeth that have gone missing in a row. Dental bridges are fixed and can only be removed by the dentist. They restore your ability to eat, speak, and smile as normal, and they also prevent the surrounding teeth from drifting out of alignment.

Procedure

Dental crowns and bridges are prepared over the course of two visits to Ness Family Dentistry. We will prepare your tooth or teeth to receive the restoration, then fit you with a temporary to wear while the permanent crown or bridge is created in a separate laboratory. Once it’s ready, you return to our office for the removal of the temporary and placement of the permanent restoration.
